Who We Are
Good communication doesn't happen by accident. It's built through clear thinking, precise language, and a deep understanding of what an audience needs to hear.
That belief is the foundation of Cioffi Communications, founded by Emmalee Cioffi after more than a decade at the intersection of politics, policy, and public engagement.
Emmalee's career has taken her from statehouse press rooms to U.S. Senate hallways, from a fintech startup to the Ohio Chamber of Commerce — giving her a rare vantage point across sectors and audiences. As Press Secretary and Deputy Communications Director for U.S. Senator Rob Portman, she managed a high-volume, high-stakes communications operation, navigating national media while keeping messaging disciplined and on point. Earlier, as Press Secretary for Governor John Kasich and Communications Director for Lt. Governor Mary Taylor, she sharpened her instincts for earned media, rapid response, and executive positioning.
Cioffi Communications launched in 2021 and in January 2026, Emmalee made it her full-time mission.
Today, the firm works with organizations that want to cut through the noise: those who have something meaningful to say and need a strategic partner to help them say it better.
